Jilly has arranged the week-long West Midlands tour by the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) over a number of years.
One section involves introducing the English criminal justice system to the visitors and to arrange for the most senior judges and practitioners from the High Court, Crown Court, Magistrates Court, and Crown Prosecution Service to provide an overview into their respective roles within the criminal justice system in England. The visit includes a tour of the Law Courts and an opportunity to observe courts sitting and adjudicating, providing a forum for questions and answers from acknowledged experts.
This undertaking is just a small part of the extensive schedule required for the visit to the West Midlands by senior ranked military personnel.
David Bradnock, MBE, JP, DL, FBHI, who hosts the annual visit, said:
For the past eight years I have undertaken this role in my capacity as a senior magistrate of some 30 years experience and as Deputy Lieutenant for the Warwickshire, to host selected members of RCDS to the West Midlands.
A high profile visit with senior military personnel requires a special understanding of protocol, culture, responsibility and security and an experienced, unflappable approach. That is where Jilly Edge comes to the fore. Jilly brings contacts at the highest level within the various organisations and possesses an eye for detail and flexibility that accommodates the unexpected.
I personally have enjoyed the ambassadorial aspect of hosting discerning professional leaders from all continents over many years.
I wish Events with the Edge continued success.
