Connect Plus is a consortium comprising of Balfour Beatty (40%), Skanska (40%), Atkins (10%) and Egis Road Operation UK (10%) and has been appointed preferred bidder to design, build, finance and operate (DBFO) the M25 project.
When we were contacted to source a suitable central London venue for a conference we were delighted to help. Connect Plus already had one or two places in mind but we were able to provide more for their consideration which were then made into a short-list. We took particular note of their requirements and vision for the day to make sure the venue was perfect, taking into account the style of conference, location and cost, ensuring the venue would fit their needs and not the other way round. We then visited the short-list to ensure the best possible outcome for the client and produced a report giving our recommendations. One of our suggestions, Church House in Westminster was their preferred choice.
In the heart of Westminster, next door to the Abbey, this is an oasis of calm where outside the world rushes by. Connect Plus were delighted.
Having successfully sourced the venue we were very excited when we were then asked to arrange the complete conference on their behalf, liaising with speakers and delegates, arranging photography and audio visual requirements, sourcing highly appropriate promotional gifts made of re-cycled tyres and most importantly we ran the whole event on their behalf.
The event was a huge success for Connect Plus. With an evening reception, the delegates and client were really pleased. Feedback from the delegates and speakers was excellent and we knew that this was a job well done.
